Tomorrow Patrick Duffy will walk out of your shower and everything will be okay. Until you start asking questions like, "Why is Patrick Duffy in my house?" and "Where is my wife?"

There is no need for a Television Category then, is there?
And no, I just couldn't bring myself to watch this show, even with Ian McShane. Other than Life, I've dropped all NBC shows this year.

Murder at Avedon Hill - The damned thing I've been working on since 2004. Oh yeah, and it's to be published by DMP by the end of the year.

I watched and enjoyed. Though, watching it with a room of Moody Bible Institute graduates is very interesting (my parents and I) because we point out all the areas that are different than the original story.
But it's compelling and I love the idea of a modern Kingdom. How different it would be if there was a monarchy like there was in Bible times.

I watched Goliath pats 1 and 2 last night, and I really loved it. The updating of a Bible story REALLY intrigued me.
However.
I'm have a hard time to get motivated to watch the next episodes, and that's because I fully expect someone to screw it up.

I've watched everything but the most recent episode, and I'm pretty pleased with it. Unfortunately, the future looks pretty grim. NBC announced recently that they're moving the show from Sunday night to Saturday night. This makes no difference to us DVR owners, but schedule-shifting is an ill portent.
Here's my biggest beef with the show: Ian McShane vs. Christopher Egan. McShane has such a powerful presence that Egan comes off very flat in comparison. Maybe this is intentional and the balance will shift once David (Egan) starts to really find his feet. That'd be cool, if the could pull it off. And if, you know, they don't get cancelled.
Eight more episodes remain in the season, and it looks like NBC plans to air them all, which is good. Maybe the show will find an audience.
Hey, writers: it'd be awesome if the first season of any television series you create could kind of stand alone as a complete story arc. I know you like to end things on a cliffhanger, but the way network television works these days all that gets you is a bunch of shows that are cancelled after one season and frustrated fans who will never see the hanged cliff resolved.

You just did that because you wanted a new one. BSG was just a convenient excuse.

Canceled. Naturally.
I have two episodes on the DVR that I haven't watched yet.
