I played Pandemic for the first time at Origins 2008 and absolutely loved it. Have you played?  What do you think. Worth the trouble to track it down?

I didn't realize it was hard to find; I saw a copy in the local mall game store a couple of weeks ago. I have not played it, but I hear nothing but good things about it.

Maybe I'm just out of touch. When I tried to get a copy last year, they were out of print. Has that changed?

Since Origins last year, Z-Man has since come out with a further printing with a longer run since then.  Laura and I snagged our copy, and our FLGS still has some in stock.

I'm actually enjoying the game more as I get more plays in.  And there's an expansion coming out soon that will add a 5th disease and support a 5th player, but somehow adds a bioterrorist to the game.  Smiley

Pandemic is our current fave since SciFiLaura introduced us to this delightfully addictive game.  It has many of the positives of Arkham Horror--cooperative play, solid strategy, and an excellent mechanism for accelerating game play.  It skips the sheer size of AH, though, meaning you can set up in a matter of minutes.  We typically will play several games in the course of a few hours after dinner with some of our friends.  When we introduced this some neighborhood friends in turn, they invited our game over the following weekend, only inviting us incidentally as bearers of the game.

Hm, I haven't done a game review on my podcast in a bit.  I only know realize this would be a perfect recommendation.  Where are my notes?

I am excited to hear there is a planned expansion.  Any release date or lines of sources?
