News: Trying not to laugh at the minions who have just discovered that the ice on the moat is now too thin to skate upon. That's one happy squid.

Question: As our influence spreads, it is inevitable that we will attract the attention of more covert government agencies, evil upstart overlord wannabes and bill collectors. What should we add to our perimeter defenses to deal with these meddlesome...meddlers?
LASERs. Lots and lots of LASERs. Pretty green ones!
Another moat, this one filled with vicious, man-eating prawn.
Giant, mutant trapdoor spiders.
Helpful directional signs that provide completely erroneous information. Mu-hahahahaha!
French taunters.
French ticklers.
Muzak.
Two words: Ninja Fence.

Somehow I don't think having Chris sit outside in a rocking chair yelling at the kids to get off his lawn is going to be effective anymore.

I think Muzak may have the opposite of the desired effect.  Those government squares will be drawn to it like flies.

This is exactly why we solicit feedback on this sort of thing. We're "big picture" overlords, and the devil is in the details. Hmm. I wonder if we can capture the devil...

My rocking chair has rocket launchers and commands an orbiting railgun.

Oh, and it has a little cup holder for my lemonade.

Just sayin'

Since I actually kind of like Muzak, I had to go for the spiders.

Hey who doesn't like spiders?

I mean, uh, they are swift and terrifying creatures that will instill the enemies with fear for 0.25 seconds until they are devoured (the enemies, not the spiders).

If we already participate in The Secret Lair activities, are we exempt from the "evil upstart overlord wannabes" classification?

Thank you for clarifying. I already wear a special mouth-guard to prevent the accidental consumption of spiders while I sleep (I read that this happens all the time, and I read it on the Internets, so it must be true); I don't need the added hassle of worrying about whether it may be necessary to worry about having to eat spiders whilst I am awake.

Temporarily, at the very least.

I feel temporarily relieved!
Then again being an actual overlord would probably require more work than I want to invest.
