I'm trying to get back into the whole gaming scene.  After the Round Table ended, I started working for a startup and my life became absolutely nuts.  I was gaming every two weeks at the International House of Johnson, and out here I've been lucky to fall in with The West Hills Pathfinders, and awesome gaming group.

That being said, I don't know what's new and interesting coming out of the gaming world anymore. What do you guys listen to for news?  What blogs are the best to read?  I know there are a bunch of podcasts out there, but I'm behind on what each of them covers.

Can someone help an Overlord out?

For podcasts, The Pulp Gamer network (http://www.pulpgamer.com/) has a lot of stuff. I'd start there, especially with The Game's The Thing, Fear the Boot, the Game Kennel, Out of Character and Inside Track.

Add in Atomic Array and RPG Countdown, and you'll be set, methinks.

We don't always do the hippie story games over on The Game Master Show, so you may be interested in some of those episodes. The Actual Play isn't for everyone, so if it isn't for you, I suggest checking out the shows labeled (general) and (designer), which are general advice, and game designer chats, respectively.

If you see a game system you are interested but haven't played it, then you might want to check out the actual play (AP) shows for it, followed by the review show. Where we critique the GM of the game and give our own take on how we would have run it.

Well, there IS Canon Puncture. And if you think all we ever do is chat up the hippie stuff, you may wanna double-check. We've been pulling a lot of content from places like Grognardia and Gnome Stew lately.

Which reminds me - if you like old-school rpg stuff, check out Grognardia and Gnome Stew.
