News: The moat dredging is scheduled for 1200 hours this Wed. Petunia (the giant squid) will be irritable during this time. We recommend using the south entrance instead of the drawbridge. --Mgmt.

Poll
Question: By now everyone is undoubtedly aware that Overlord Miller will soon be returning to the original (and still the best) Lair. How should he traverse the approximately 2,300 miles between Los Angeles and Cleveland?  (Voting closed: April 14, 2009, 06:13:31 AM)
Teleportation. We'll have the bugs worked out of the teleporter by the time he needs to leave. Really. - 0 (0%)
Catapult. Originally developed as a siege weapon, the technology has come a long way since. Just look at Rampart! - 0 (0%)
Subterranean Tunnels. Our relationship with the Mole-Men has never been better. Sure, there's a rogue faction bent on destroying us, but we're pretty sure they're under Detroit. - 1 (12.5%)
Car. Ah, the good old family automobile. Not the fastest way to get there, but certainly the most inconspicuous. - 1 (12.5%)
Rocket Car. Everything you love about the good old family automobile, only much, much faster. - 2 (25%)
Zeppelin. Oh, fine, call it a dirigible if you must. Just don't call it a blimp; that's not cool at all. - 2 (25%)
Atomic Train. Why not a regular train? Here's a hint: all trains have atoms. - 0 (0%)
Teleportation. Come on, don't be such a sissy. It's perfectly safe! Okay, not now, but we're working on it! - 0 (0%)
Submarine. This one's a bit tricky, given the vast amounts of not-ocean between Los Angeles and Cleveland. Maybe he could take the long way around. - 0 (0%)
Wagon Train. That's right. Go old school. - 2 (25%)

To the minions who have expressed interest in arranging a Homecoming Ball: No. Just...no.

Hm. You missed the option for: He doesn't! Suck it up! If all Evil Overlords gave up after 9 months, where would we be?

Again you appear to be operating under the belief that the relocation of one person (regardless of their position in the organization) is tantamount to shuttering The Secret Lair West and abandoning our west coast operations. By all means, continue with your misguided assumptions. It makes it all the easier for us to ultimately crush you beneath our bootheels.

What's the difference between the Teleportation option and the Teleportation option?

The second is there to reinforce the fact that it is an entirely safe form of travel (or will be, soon) that some people are apprehensive about trying just because of a few dozen unfortunate incidents during the early development phase. And that one last week. Still, time to man up, right?

I would really have to reply "None of the Above." Since there is a possibility of cholera and death by starvation/cannibalism with the wagon train option, I voted for that. Can we get video of that? That might be a reality show I would watch. Only because it starred the Overlord Miller though.
