It should come as no surprise to any of you that I approve of these videos. I believe the kids call them "mashups".
All mashed up by the same individual, the videos manage to capture the spirit of the original source of the theme music using (almost) entirely
Star Wars imagery. Note how the sequences featuring Luke's lightsaber training in the
MacGyver video and the pivoting, firing Death Star turbolaser in the beginning of the
Dallas video are perfectly synchronized with the music. If I possessed the appropriate glands and ducts, I assure you that those moments would both have brought tears of nostalgic joy to my eyes.
