Evidently, it was one of those films that spent less time in theaters than it took to deliver the film cans. Ah well - you can't scrimp on plot. Not anymore, anyway... There should also be a rating associated with movies "based on" fiction. This additional rating should inform prospective viewers about the 'degree of deviation' from the original work. I'll agree with our en-Lair'd Overlords; Next, in my humble opinion, was alright up until the Ewing moment at the end. And don't get me started on Minority Report...
