That's right, Holyfiend: get cocky; get overconfident. You're being played like grandpappy's fiddle at the annual hoedown.

By the way, I agree with Kris and his assessment of Iron Man as the best superhero movie ever. Of course, I'm the man that REALLY liked Daredevil, so I'm probably not the best judge of these things.

Ah, that was nice listening... a 'bust on Holyfield sandwich' at the beginning and end of the episode. I'm so glad you are moving, Miller... that's about as smart as Hitler invading Russia. Splitting your forces only makes this easier for me.

And as for your ninja, Johnson... luckily I was at the grocery store listening to the episode... Cannonball spotted him sneaking up on me and pegged him with her sippy cup. I made short work of him after that, although the blood on the cereal isle was hard to hide... had to improvise with boxes of Lucky Charms and some Quaker Oats.

I really didn't like Indy 4 very much, other than some of the nostalgia moments you spoke of during your show. I thought the script had issues, and probably some of the choices made during the filming/editing compounded those issues. There is a great blog post about some of those writing issues (do a search on the 50 issues with Indy 4 and I'm sure it'll come up).

I had not considered the Mandarin, angle, Walter. Good catch on that. I will have to re-watch the movie (Oh, twist my arm) and take that into consideration.

Thanks for the comment, Walter. You raise some very good points regarding the villains in Iron Man. Take that, Miller!

Hi, new to the show (this is my first episode). Looking forward to hearing some more. One thing, I really disagree with the idea that the terrorists in Iron Man were arbitrary. First off, they were laying the groundwork for the 10 Rings = Mandarin in future films. Plus, it's Stark's kidnapping by the terrorists that sets off the rest of the movie's events. It's the terrorists stockpiling of Stark weapons that set him off on the path to create the Iron Man armor and fight against his hardware getting into the wrong hands. I really didn't see them as arbitrary. Just my 2-cents.

Chris may be busting caps in asses, but I intend to pop caps in asses. Or maybe it's the other way around. My point is that we do things differently here on the East Coast.

Naturally. I believe that will involve the busting of caps in asses, etc, etc. All good, clean fun.

Glad you enjoyed the episode, David. I suspect that our new East/West coast dynamic will involve a blood feud, as is usually the case with such things (or so I'm told).

Thanks, Troy. I've added a link to your review in the show notes.

I saw several seasons of The Incredible Hulk television series for about $34 apiece at Best Buy a couple of days ago, and I was sorely tempted to grab the first season, but I snagged The Goonies and LEGO Indiana Jones (PC) instead.
